GIS Newsletter

GIS in the News is a publication of the City of Salisbury GIS Division.  The goal for GIS in the News is to address the variety of interests, projects, and questions that exist within the Salisbury GIS community. With a decentralized GIS, it can often be difficult to see the “big picture” of the enterprise GIS and its progression. It is my hope that this newsletter will serve to highlight accomplishments and ongoing projects and keep everyone better informed.

If you are new to GIS, or would like to learn more about just what GIS is, this newsletter will offer an opportunity to learn about the basics of GIS and its implementation. If you are already a GIS user, this newsletter will provide you with insights and applications of this technology. If you have an experience you would like to share with others, a submission to GIS In the News would be appreciated.

"Tremendous opportunities exist for a cooperative enterprise GIS here at the City of Salisbury , and I will be active in promoting its use." - Kathryn Clifton
