The GIS Division serves as the coordinating body for mapping and data development for departments within the City of Salisbury. The GIS Division is committed to the development of accurate and timely data about the City of Salisbury and the surrounding region. Each department utilizes GIS data as applicable in order to provide a continuing level of service to the citizens of Salisbury. The GIS Division is a central point of contact for citizens to quickly and easily access accurate and current geographic information.

Kathryn Clifton joined the GIS Division in June 1999, after being graduated from Clemson University with a Master's degree in City & Regional Planning.

Trey Cleaton joined the GIS Division in September 2007. He was graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master's degree in Planning and Regional Analysis.

Jennifer Goble joined the GIS Division in July 2007. She will be attending Catawba College in fall 2008.
